This was a HOT outdoor wedding of my friend's daughter. It was held on the Chesapeake at a marina and the reception was a very short walk. It was 92˚ and was a lovely ceremony until a cigarette boat decided to enter the harbor right during the saying of the vows. The food was great and there was plenty of crab, bisque and crab stuffed mushrooms.

This was one of the events from our field day. Can you start with a cup of water on your forehead and stand up? There were many that could!

There are so many unique barn styles just in Chester County. The nice thing about this one is that the structure has been rebuilt on an old foundation. Recycling at it's best for the farmer.

Hay is stacked in many different formats around here. This seems to be the standard big bundle blocks! It would be fun to make a fort out of these!

This old mil is located on a back road next to a stream, the Big Elk I think. Someone has refurbished the building and now they live inside.

This hotel at the University of Delaware is part of their hotel management program. It is known as a very "green" hotel. You can see the manual form of transportation in the background they use to take guests into town!!

Someone told me this bridge was constructed for deer to cross. After the road was put in the sides were too steep. I'm not buying it as there is flat ground at the top of this hill.

See June 01 about the origination of this photo/project. It is not a photo but my son's class project using PhotoShop and adding shading, lighting, and color to this still life.

My son Alex went to our local tech school for graphic design in high school. He has my dad's talent. This was his project at FullSailU. This was given to the students as a gray shape and background. Each student had to add their unique color with lighting and shading to make this appear real. I was really impressed. He was a bit critical of his own work - just like most artists!

The Lillytopia exhibit at Longwood Gardens had so many different ways to display flowers. This was a unique style for a new hybrid of lilly.
